Suvana wants to build a cohousing community for Triratna and other Buddhist-friendly folks, for example, a block of flats including a community house which has shared facilities, like laundry, guest rooms, and meeting space.
Please come to this meeting to meet other co-creators of this project, and see how we can take it forward.
It has always been enjoyable to spend time together and envision our incipient community.
The meeting is also the Suvana AGM, and we have some big decisions that you can help us make!
Suvana's work is carried out by the Exec, delegated by the board, and consists of Tejasvini, Ray Brown, Ian Collins, Jeremy Peters, Vimaladipa and Mahasraddha.
Mahasraddha has kindly agreed to become a director and that will need voting in at the AGM. However, our business status has also changed, and how we go forward depends upon you.
We have reached a difficult juncture with Suvana. Following the tragedy earlier this year we have not been able to replace our treasurer - or replace our membership secretary. We do not have enough people to do the work needed.
To continue with bringing the Suvana vision to reality we need a membership secretary and a treasurer. Please do contact Tejasvini or any of the directors individually to discuss whether it might be a possibility for you.
